Mary's Meals

IHM did not want 2012 to be only a celebration year for students and relations but also wanted to contribute to the lives and education of less fortunate pupils by fundraising for charity partner Mary’s Meal.

As a sponsor, you contributed not only to our jubilee year, but also the Mary’s Meals organization.

Mary's Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The idea is simple. To provide one daily meal in a place of education in order to attract chronically poor children into a classroom where they gain an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.The cost to feed one child for a year in Malawi is €8,- and it costs €8000,- euro to sponsor a school kitchen.
